The misadventures of an otome warrior

So had to redo the blog again but I think I'm getting happier and happier with the results!!!!

Due to my free time since I am done with my exams I usually find myself drifting towards my computer and then suddenly  I'm either ROFL i.e. rolling on the floor laughing on Meme Center, busy typing away and working on one of my stories or alternatively I find myself clicking away, giggling and fangirling by myself till the wee hours even though I had encountered something so hard to conquer. Yes, I encountered dating - yeah I know you did a little double take there.

Why is dating Souta so hard? He keeps giving me all these treats and I gain more than 2kg after I eat them. I'm referring to Love Revo. This is one of the otome games that I play where the main character's aim is to lose weight while finding her true love. It came out a few years ago but of course the game is still good well more than good but not to mention hard.

Otome games or maiden games (as otome 乙女 means maiden in Japanese) are where characters usually have to work through the story line while trying to find a suitable person to date and the aim of most of these games is to end up with a happy ending which can be extremely hard since every small decision makes a contribution to the story line

Then when I realize that I did not have enough sleep, I sit ashamed for a little while before smiling when I once again take a wrong click on my computer and end up in the Otome Games folder. Oh otome games......

Fellow otome warriors understand, the games are so simple and yet so addictive.
Well I must go now, to find more products to review and giveaways to post but I hope I don't find my mouse drifting towards the folder and then.....nooooo.

  1. Otome games. Its not a hobby - its a way of life. // We must have a sleepover so you and Liz can take turns playing that Hakuoki otome game on the psp -- MARVEL AT THE SEXY BOYS. -shot-

  2. A way of life, that is why I refer to us otome game players as warriors. Warriors train to enhance their skills and dedicate their time to their cause. Yep! I vote for that sleep over and don't remind me about Hakuoki, I get tears in my eyes thinking about it :T_T:
